Shovel Knight is a 2014 action platformer game developed and published by independent developer Yacht Club Games for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and personal computer platforms. The game was relsed worldwide for the PC and in North America for the 3DS and Wii U on June 26, 2014. A date has yet to be announced for a Europn 3DS or Wii U relse. Shovel Knight was directed by former WayForward Technologies member Sn Velasco and includes music composed by Jake Kaufman and Manami Matsumae.
